T-Shirt Quilts

What is the difference between a t-shirt blanket and a t-shirt quilt?  A t-shirt blanket has two layers, and a t-shirt quilt has three layers and quilted together.  We specialize in t-shirt quilts a perfect way to create a memorable gift for a special someone with t-shirts and sweatshirts that you’ve collected over the years. Let us make them into a quilt for you to use in the bedroom, family room, dorm room, or to hang on the wall. 

We’ve created tee-shirt memory quilts from various themes such as: organizations, retirement from numerous companies, sorority and fraternities, school activities, collectors, athletes, clubs, vacation travel shirts, banners, events, baby items, pro and collegiate sport teams and much more.

To make a t-shirt quilt, provide us with your t-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, etc. and we will transform into a quilt providing permanent memories for you to enjoy. During our consultation, we will work as a team to design, select the sashing, trim, and quilt backing colors. Once we have met, I will create and layout the quilt along will fabric samples for final approval. Next, we will cut and prep the  t-shirts, lay out the shirts, piece the top layer, add backing and batting and then quilt and bind.  There is a $100 deposit to begin your project, and the balance is due upon completion of the quilt.

Prices include:

• Cut and stabilize t-shirts, design lay-out, and sewing of shirts
• One layer of batting polyester batting, 100% cotton border 
• Complimentary color based on the color pallet chosen for backing
• Quilting in complimentary thread color
• Border and trim around quilt in your choice of available colors
• Machine binding in your choice of available binding colors
• Types of Shirts: We can mix most types of shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.
• Normal turn around time is approximately 4 to 6 weeks
